Flender History
Between 1924 and 1927, Alfred Friedrich Flender took a major step in the growth of German industry by designing the first hydraulic clutch and variator system. After the company was revived in 1945, the Flender brand joined the Siemens group in 2005 and 2010 and continued to operate as one of its subsidiaries.
